Huntington Beach police made an arrest Friday afternoon in connection with a vandalism incident at Ocean View High School that dates back to March.
Detectives from the department's Special Investigations Bureau took a juvenile into custody at the school at approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 16. The juvenile was booked on a charge of misdemeanor vandalism.
The HBPD confirmed the investigation is ongoing and stated no additional details would be released. The nature of the vandalism, the location on campus, and any other circumstances around the incident remain undisclosed for now.
Ocean View High School is a public school in the Huntington Beach Union High School District, located near the Westminster border.
